A portfolio assessment is a collection of student work that can help students reflect on their activities and what they learn during their entire school year. Teachers used student portfolios to easily assess their students' progress. The portfolio may be used to show the growth of learners over time.      It also provides an opportunity for students to reflect on what they learn, formulate deeper understandings, and hone their creativity upon completing their portfolio.      Student's portfolios can show the written, oral, and graphic output of students in a variety of ways that demonstrate skills developed by students.     For our students, using portfolio assessment is crucial because it fosters self-reflection and enables them to advance as they witness their growth over time.
